Breaking: Aurora Police Officer Shot In The Face
Denver, Colorado – An Aurora Police Officer was shot in the Face Tuesday afternoon.
An Aurora Police Officer has been shot while responding to an incident on the 14500 block of East 46th Avenue, in the Montbello neighborhood.
Aurora Police with the assistance of Denver Police responded to the house of the suspect due to an incident that occurred in Aurora.
Authorities stated via Periscope and Twitter that the suspect exited the residence and a confrontation ensued which resulted in one Aurora officer being shot. They did not state the condition of the suspect, but said “out of respect of the suspects family, we will not comment on his condition”.

We’re just going to go out on a limb here and assume that means that the suspect is dead.
Colorado’s 9 News reports that their sources have told them that the officer was shot in the face, but has non-life threatening injuries. The incident happened at around 12:30 PM.
Police are currently retrieving a search warrant to further conduct the investigation.
