As the outgoing Obama administration continues to blame Russian hacking for Donald Trump’s win over Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, CNN claims to have the proof. However, there’s one huge problem with their “evidence.”
Since Hillary’s loss, “fake news” propaganda is being pushed to the forefront. However, it wasn’t an alternative media site that was just busted for fake news after being caught using a screenshot from a popular video game to show how the Russians hacked the American election. It was CNN, which is unsurprising to most of us, and this is as fake as the news gets, unfortunately. What’s worse, it’s from mainstream media.
Most liberal media outlets have at least attempted to try to validate the Russian hacking theory without any solid evidence, and although they have failed, they haven’t stooped to the level of actually boldly lying. Then, came a report from CNN, which doesn’t really care about the truth, obviously. CNN decided to show a screenshot from a video game while discussing “hacking,” stealing footage from one of the most popular video games of the year and hoping that nobody watching would recognize it.
Screenshot from Fallout 4, one of the most popular video games in the United States, was used by CNN to show how the Russians “hacked the election.”
In a segment about Barack Obama proposing sanctions against Russia for its unproven and evidenceless role in cyberattacks targeting the United States’ presidential election, CNN grabbed a screenshot of the hacking mini-game from the extremely popular role-playing video game, Fallout 4. The bold-faced, misleading lie was first noticed by users on Reddit. The screenshot shows some scary neon green letters that gamers will instantly recognize as being from the game.
CNN uses a video game screenshot during a segment on Obama’s punishments for Russia’s unproven “election hacking.”
It is a simple image that has absolutely nothing in common with actual hacking, which is what makes it perfect for mainstream news viewers who refuse to actually look into the stories they are being fed by liberal propaganda machines like CNN.
Since there is no evidence that Russia hacked the election, there are no images available for CNN to use when they start to place blame for their useless leader, Barack Obama. It’s becoming more and more apparent that if there was any actual evidence that Russia had done any sort of election hacking, the American public would have seen it and CNN wouldn’t need to steal screenshots from video games.
There are not any legitimate images available to represent their narrative because there is no evidence of Russian hacking. CNN has just shown us that they are willing to boldly deceive in an attempt to push another lie and indoctrinate the public. Some of us are intelligent enough to not fall for it. Sorry, CNN, you were busted.
